The A.A. District 15 Committee encourages A.A. members to assume responsibility for carrying the message to those in jail or prison.
Our District in close coordination with Brevard County Sherriff’s Office and the County Jail in Sharpes, FL communicates with our fellow Brevard County Districts 12 and 23, to work together to bring A.A. Meetings into the jail to share the message and our Experience, Strength, and Hope with those currently incarcerated .
- Bringing meetings and literature into facilities
- Raising awareness of the Corrections Correspondence Service (C.C.S.) among “inside” and “outside” A.A. members
- Helping individuals in custody transition to a local A.A. community through Prerelease Contacts
